parts and pieces

Weirdness. I can't seem to write a post. Feeling funkish. There's work to be done, the kind that involves staring at a computer screen for long periods of time, and I have zero motivation. There's a house to maintain too, and I lack drive in that area as well.

As I write this, Craig is with the girls at SportzQuest for Grace's tumbling class. I loaded the diaper bag with veggies and roast chicken for Julia, so she won't beg Craig for snacks she isn't allowed to have. At this point the "not allowed" list is long.  No milk.  No soy.  No wheat.  No Egg.  No Peanut.  And she's still rashy.  She scrapes at her head which feels as though it's covered in sandpaper.  The hardest part has been giving up bread which she LOVES.  She adores bread.  If there were only one food item allowed in her world, it would be bread.  January 29th cannot come soon enough.

I'm back on the working out bandwagon.  I've felt like such a swollen whale lately. It's not pretty, I mean, my thoughts aren't pretty.  This is terrible, really it is, but the one thing I hold onto is that Craig has developed a little belly too.  We're twins.

Craig's semester starts tomorrow.  I really dread the beginning of classes, and I have to endure it at least twice a year.  Craig will be stressed, anxious, and crabby.  I will silently watch the clock and calendar to mark the days until he acclimates to a new set of students and classes.

Enough with the whining already.  Send me your good thoughts.  Happiness is contagious.

I feel your pain! Hopefully the transition isn't too bad! Whining is therapeutic - don't keep that locked up inside - I clearly don't :) We are waiting out the cold weather and looking forward to longer warmer days - it is a little ways off though so I will settle for a few extra minutes every day.
