I thought of using the title "Mrs. Dad, Day One" but that felt silly, so no title. Craig's in Chicago. He left popping advil in hopes that "the sick" wouldn't bring him down too. I've spent the day in a fog--foggy head that is. My body aches too. We've both come down with the girls' illness, and truth is that I'll probably have the easier time of it. While I may have Grace and Julia with which to contend, at least I won't have to spend 10 hours a day running experiments in a lab.
According to my clock, it's 8:09 pm. I plan to be in bed by 8:15. Hopelessly lame and I don't care.

I hope you were able to get in bed at 8:15 - hopefully a LONG night's sleep will cure the cold :) hope you are all feeling better. Craig - good luck in Chicago! Hope the experiments go well... Ellen - good luck on your own while Craig is gone. I hope the girls are good for you :)
I hope you feel better soon! I feel your pain - we lack the support system as well. Andy was gone last week - I finally broke down and went to the doctor and we are feeing Murdoch Motrin :) He is a teething boogery mess! He is a trooper though. We are looking forward to a better week this week.
Yippee, the girls slept until 7:45. I feel a lot better, whew, and the girls seem to be doing well. Grace goes back to school after a week off (hooray), and Julia doesn't seem quite as cranky (poor thing, conjunctivitis and ear infection at the same time).
Poor Murdoch. I've been dosing myself with motrin for the last 48 hours, and it's been the only thing keeping me together. Hope he feels better soon too.
