I do have it, really.
Yes, Grace is sick--miserable, in fact. Her allergic reaction isn't something we can resolve overnight or even over several nights, but she is getting better, little by little. Despite my whining, this isn't the worse thing to happen. I'm all for wallowing in self pity on occasion, but I see that for what it is: self pity.
At every little bump in the road, I try to remember those closest to me who face far greater challenges (and with barely ANY whining). If you haven't checked in on them lately, go see the latest on my nieces Whitney and Anne. Whitney continues to improve by leaps and bounds. She had open heart surgery just a little over two months ago, and her recovery has been remarkable.
Yep, open heart surgery, kind of a big deal, especially in comparison to a little allergic reaction. Perspective is a good thing.

You're right, it is a good thing, yet a miserable kid, is a miserable kid! I'm glad she's feeling better & I'm so thankful to hear that Whitney is doing so much better!
