Röyksopp

Röyksopp

Really, we had no idea what to expect from the show. I was a teeny bit worried that we'd be the straightest people in the room, but when I saw another minivan pulling into the parking lot at The Masquerade in Atlanta, I knew we were good. Turns out we were entirely average, if by average you mean thirty somethings obsessed with Röyksopp.

All descriptors fall short to describe our night. It was awesome-amazing-kick ass-best night in recent memory. It also reminded me of something: I do know how to have fun. Sometimes I'm so straight-laced I can hardly stand myself, so penned in by habit and schedule and expectation that I've forgotten something key. It's good to let the freak within breathe. I did more than breathe on Thursday night, I let go and felt the music vibrate my cells. I was still vibrating on Friday (after very little sleep) with a permanent grin plastered on my face. The show was that good.

For the uninitiated, go here to see what we saw.
