Potty all the time, potty all the ti-ime (my apologies to Eddie Murphy, but the song fits).
Yes, Grace has been in undies for six days now, including two mornings at preschool and a four hour shopping trip this morning-early afternoon. We have had three accidents over the course of the week, but nothing major. A little pee here, a little pee there. We are thrilled, THRILLED, can you read me, T-H-R-I-L-L-E-D!!
I don't even think that it's sunk in for us. I haven't changed a poopy diaper in days. It's heaven.
As I wrote in an earlier post (on the State of Grace) we had been successful in the potty training arena only when Grace went nude from the waist down (a relatively easy task with a girl who wears lots of dresses). In any case, last Monday she told me she wanted to wear underwear. "Okay", I said, and off to the races we went. Is it possible that potty training is actually that simple. Please don't pinch me. I don't want to wake up if this is a dream!

Great news about Grace and the potty! Unfortunately, the song Evan is singing at our house is:
It's my potty and I'll try if I want to, try if I want to, try if I want to.
My Mom cries too 'cause I do not try poo-poo!
