Of singular purpose

Craig has taken to laughing at me on a regular basis. I should be thankful for this development. I think he laughs because his other option is to get irritated, and he's been with me long enough to know that's not helpful.

I am in Christmas demon mode. The lists I have created have spawned new lists. Various projects, none of which are completed, have left the house in a state of disarray. My mind flits from one idea to the next, and I litter the atmosphere with directives. "Craig, do this. Craig, do that. Craig, don't do that. Craig, I told you to do this first. Craig, why did you do that?"

And he laughs. When I scrunched up my nose at him yesterday afternoon, he laughed even harder. He said "I know you. This is how you get. You have a singular vision of what Christmas should be. I'm just trying to help you achieve that goal. Just remember dads have ideas too."

They do, poor man. We might get to those......after Christmas.
