Irritating the hell out of each other

This morning's conversation:

Julia: When I grow up, I'm going to be a daddy.

Grace: No you're not.

Julia: When I grow up, I'm going to be a daddy.

Grace: Julia, I think you're just wishing you could be a daddy, but you can't.

Julia (at much louder volume): When I grow up, I'm going to be a daddy. When I grow up, I'm going to be a daddy. When I grow up, I'm going to be a daddy. When I grow up, I'm going to be a daddy.

Grace: No, you're not. No, you're not. No, you're not. No, you're not. No, you're not. No, you're not...

Julia: WHEN I GROW UP, I'M GOING TO BE A DADDY! WHEN I GROW UP...

Me: Enough already. Eat your breakfasts.

Julia (quietly): when I grow up, I'm going to be a daddy.

Grace (barely a whisper): no, you're not.

Exactly when did you sneak into my house to hear a conversation like this? :)

Thanks for a much-needed chuckle this morning. Julia is talking so well...she needs to come over here and teach Jessi a thing or two :).

I love it! Must be a conversation siblings relatively close in age have... Seems to me I've heard about some from Lynne and Bob!
